Corporate Marquee Hire Brisbane: From Quote to Setup
Sizing, compliance and the path from quote to setup — so the person organising it looks good and nothing gets stuck in approvals.
Corporate events have a different checklist to a backyard party: procurement wants a proper invoice, the venue or council wants an insurance certificate, and facilities want to know the structure is actually engineered. This guide covers how corporate marquee hire works in Brisbane — the sizing, the compliance, and the path from quote to setup — so the person organising it looks good and nothing gets stuck in approvals.
What Corporates Hire Marquees For
Product launches & brand activations — a blank, brandable space on your site, not a generic ballroom.
Conferences & expos — theatre seating, breakout pods, exhibition booths.
Race days, golf days & sporting events — hospitality marquees trackside or on the green.
Gala dinners & awards nights — seated banquets with a stage and dance floor.
Staff events & EOFY/Christmas parties — on-site, after-hours, your way.
The Corporate Compliance Checklist (Where We're Different)
This is what separates a real event company from a backyard tent operator — and what your procurement, venue and WHS teams will ask for:
Proper GST tax invoice.
We're a registered Australian business; you get a compliant tax invoice for the books and BAS. Purchase orders accepted.
$20M Public & Products Liability insurance.
Carried on every job — and we'll provide a certificate of currency for venues, schools and councils that require one.
Engineered to Australian Standards, 80km/h wind-rated.
Clearspan structures with engineering specifications available on request when a permit or venue requires them. Browse the full marquee range.
Professional crew install & packdown.
Scheduled around your run sheet and site access.
If you've had an event held up because a supplier couldn't produce an insurance certificate or a tax invoice, this is the part that matters most.
Sizing a Corporate Event
Layout drives the size more than headcount alone:
| Setup | Rough capacity guide |
|---|---|
| Theatre (rows, presentation) | most people per m² |
| Cocktail / networking (high tables) | ≈ 1.1 guests per m² |
| Banquet (seated dinner + stage) | ≈ 0.8 guests per m² |
So an 8×15m (120m²) seats around 100 for a gala dinner, holds ~130 for cocktail networking, or more in theatre style. Add a stage, AV or exhibition booths and step up a size. Map it out in the 3D Marquee Builder to check flow and exits before you commit.
Power, Flooring and the Practical Stuff
Power: corporate AV, lighting and catering usually need generators — plan power early; it's the thing most often forgotten.
Flooring: essential on grass for heels, trolleys and a professional finish (~$15/m²).
Access: marquees need gate/driveway width to get the structure in — flag tight sites at quote time.
Branding: clearspan walls and the open footprint give you space for banners, signage and a branded entry.
Pricing & How the Quote Works
Our prices are published, so budgeting is straightforward. The marquee starts from $550 (small) and scales by size; packages bundle flooring, lighting and furniture (e.g. a 6×9m runs $1,050 / $2,230 / $2,830 across Packs 1–3). Delivery is quoted separately per postcode from our Bray Park base and shown live in your quote — always a separate line, never bundled into the marquee price and never free; no hidden “service fees” either. A 40% deposit confirms the booking; the balance is due 30 days before your event; everything's plus GST on a proper tax invoice. Larger 10m-wide marquees are price-on-application — talk to us and we'll scope it.
From Quote to Setup
Quote — published prices, instant online, or send your brief and we'll spec it.
Confirm — 40% deposit + PO; we issue the tax invoice and (on request) the insurance certificate + engineering specifications.
Setup — our crew installs around your run sheet and packs down after.
