How Marquee Delivery & Setup Works
Our own crew delivers from Bray Park. We bring it, build it, and take it down — quoted separately per postcode. Here's exactly what that involves.
The Process
How Delivery Is Priced
Delivery, setup and pack-down are all handled by our own crew from our Bray Park depot — never DIY. They are charged separately to your equipment hire and priced by the distance to your site, so the figure is different for every postcode. There's no published rate to quote here because it depends on where you are — add your items in the cart or request a quote and we'll show you the exact delivery figure for your address.

Setup & Pack-Down Timing
Setup is typically the day before your event. For a Saturday event that usually means Friday. For a Sunday event, Saturday. We'll confirm the exact time window when your booking is locked in — it depends on our schedule, your site access, and the marquee size.
Pack-down is the morning after. For a Saturday event, we're back Sunday. Again we'll confirm the time window — typically early to mid-morning so you're not waiting all day.
Multi-day events or extended hire periods are available and negotiated per job. Contact Joe if you need the marquee for more than two days.
Access Requirements
We do a lot of suburban backyard setups. Most work without issue. Here's what we need:
Gate Width
6m-wide marquee: minimum 900mm gate clearance — fits a standard suburban side gate.
8m-wide marquee: minimum 1.8m clearance, or front-yard / driveway access.
Overhead Clearance
4m+ overhead clearance on the access path. Low gates, pergolas, or overhead lines along the path need to be flagged before booking — send us a photo and we'll assess.
Vehicle Access
We need to get the trailer within 10m of the setup area. Most suburban driveways work. Rural or unusual access — let us know at quote stage.
Setup Surface
Grass (pegged), concrete, pavers, or compacted gravel (ballast blocks). Extreme slopes or unstable ground — tell us and we'll assess. We can usually work around it.
Not sure about your access? Send us a photo of your gate, driveway, and backyard via the quote form. 95% of sites work without issues — we'll flag the 5% early.
Where We Deliver
We operate across all of South East Queensland. Delivery is from our Bray Park depot. If you're not on this list, ask — we'll quote for most of SEQ and beyond for the right job.
Delivery FAQs
How much does delivery actually cost for my suburb?
The honest answer: use the quote form with your postcode and we'll give you an exact number within the day. Delivery is quoted separately per postcode based on distance from our Bray Park depot — there's no surge pricing, no weekend penalty, no "busy season" loading. What you see in your quote is what you pay.
Do you deliver on weekends?
Yes. Delivery and setup operate 7 days. Most of our setups happen on Fridays and Saturdays because most events run on weekends. Weekend rates are the same as weekdays.
What if it rains on setup day?
We set up in the rain. Our gear is commercial grade and the crew is used to Queensland weather. If conditions are extreme (lightning, severe weather warning) we'll reschedule setup to the next safe window and keep you updated.
Can I extend the hire period if I want the marquee longer?
Yes — multi-day and extended hire is available. It's priced per job based on the equipment, site, and dates. Let Joe know at booking stage and it goes on the quote. Last-minute extensions depend on our schedule.
Do I need to be there for setup and pack-down?
For setup — ideally yes, at least for the first 10 minutes so we can confirm positioning before we start bolting. For pack-down you don't need to be there if access is arranged in advance. We'll send you confirmation when we're done.
