Why Hire a 6m x 3m Marquee in Brisbane?
The 6m x 3m is our most compact clearspan marquee — and the single most popular size for Brisbane backyard events. At just 18 square metres, it fits through standard side gates, sits on a single concrete pad or lawn section, and delivers proper weather protection for 15–30 guests without dominating your outdoor space.
Unlike pop-up gazebos from Bunnings, this is a commercial-grade engineered aluminium frame rated to 80km/h wind gusts. It won't fold in a Brisbane storm. White PVC roof and walls are included as standard — or upgrade to clear PVC walls for that open-air feel without the exposure. Delivery, setup, and pack-down are quoted separately.
At this size, most clients go with Pack 1 (marquee only) or Pack 2 (add Pro-Floor modular flooring and interior festoon lighting). The 6x3 is modular — if your event grows, we can extend it in 3m bays all the way to 6x24m. Need a wider footprint? Check the 8m x 3m for an extra two metres of width.

Setup tip: The 6x3m needs 8m x 5m of flat ground (1m clearance each side). Anchored with star pickets on grass or concrete weights on hard surfaces. Our crew can set this up in under 90 minutes.

How many guests fit in a 6x3m marquee? +
Standing cocktail: 30 guests. Seated dinner with round or trestle tables: 15 guests. For a mix of seating and standing, plan for around 20.
Can a 6x3m marquee fit through a side gate? +
Yes. Our 6m wide marquees are specifically designed for Brisbane residential properties. The frame components are modular and can be carried through standard side gates (minimum 900mm wide) — no crane or large vehicle access needed.
What's the difference between the 6x3 and 8x3 marquee? +
Both are the same length (3m) but the 8x3 is two metres wider, giving you 24m² instead of 18m². The 8x3 is better for round tables and larger guest counts, but needs a wider site. If your space is narrow, the 6x3 is the right choice.
Is the 6x3 marquee waterproof? +
Absolutely. Full commercial-grade PVC roof and wall panels provide complete weather protection. Our clearspan frames are engineered for South East Queensland conditions including heavy rain and winds up to 80km/h.
